Notes

'Rose Tulip' peony (Paeonia 'Rose Tulip') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen use. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. Tall stems carry deep pink, fragrant, tulip-like blooms that attract butterflies and bees. Arthur Percy Saunders bred it in 1947.

Pairs well with White Feather hosta, Nodding onion, and Switchgrass.
