Notes

'Rosenquarz' peony (Paeonia 'Rosenquarz') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its single pink flowers open extremely early in spring and face upward. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. The copper colored new leaves mature to green on upright stems that need no support.

Pairs well with Blue Mouse Ears hosta, Stargazer lily, and Blue grama.
