Notes
'Rosine' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Rosine') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The large double blooms are rose-pink with a deeper center and lighter edges. They open in late spring to early summer and have a rose-like fragrance. Victor Lemoine & Sons bred it.
Pairs well with Monkshood, Rose, Stargazer lily, and Kentucky bluegrass.
