Notes

'Rote Woge' rose (Rosa 'Rote Woge') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, containers, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Its spreading habit stays low, and it reaches about 24 to 31 inches tall. Medium red, fragrant blooms open in late spring, summer, and early autumn, and bees visit them. Meilland International bred it, and its name means wave.

Pairs well with Limelight hydrangea, Switchgrass, and Buckeye Belle peony.
