Notes

'Roundelay' rose (Rosa 'Roundelay') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Dark red, fragrant blooms open in late spring, again in summer, and into early autumn, and bees visit them. Thorns line the stems, so wear gloves when you prune. Herbert C. Swim bred it in 1954.

Pairs well with Baby's breath, Fountain grass, and Niobe clematis.
