Notes
'Ruby Frost' tickseed (Coreopsis 'Ruby Frost') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to average soil of most types. Butterflies and bees visit the blooms, which open in early to late summer and again in early to late autumn. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. It is drought tolerant, so it suits a low care bed.
Pairs well with Hidcote lavender, Shasta daisy, and Montbretia.
