Notes

'Salmon Doves' peony (Paeonia 'Salmon Doves') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Roy G. Klehm bred it, and the soft salmon-pink single blooms are fragrant and nicely cupped. Bees and butterflies visit the flowers.

Pairs well with Halcyon hosta, Pale purple coneflower, and Western sword fern.
