Notes

'Salmon Rose' scabiosa (Scabiosa atropurpurea 'Salmon Rose') is an annual for borders, cut flower gardens, and cottage gardens. It grows well in cool weather and can ride out a light frost. This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and sandy or loamy soil. The clumping plants reach 24 to 36 inches tall and bring fragrant coral blooms that attract butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. Deer tend to pass it by. The uniform stems make an elegant cut flower.

Pairs well with Apricotta cosmos, Flamingo Feather celosia, Gladiator ornamental onion, and Green Spice coral bells.
