Notes

'Salute' rose (Rosa 'Salute') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. It grows upright to about 16 to 22 inches tall with dark green leaves. The dark red blooms are fragrant and appear in late spring, summer, and early autumn. Bees visit the flowers, and Wendy R. White bred it.

Pairs well with Hollyhock, Maltese cross, and Casa Blanca lily.
