Notes

'Saohime' rose (Rosa 'Saohime') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, containers, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Light pink blooms are fragrant and appear in late spring, early to late summer, and early autumn. Bees visit the flowers. Shunzo Hayashi bred it in 1999.

Pairs well with Bobo hydrangea, The President clematis, and Lily.
