Notes

'Scarlet O’Hara' peony (Paeonia 'Scarlet O’Hara') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The large, single flowers are fragrant and attract butterflies and bees. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Elizabeth Glasscock Falk bred it.

Pairs well with Autumn Frost hosta, Charles Joly lilac, Stargazer lily, and Western sword fern.
