Notes

'Scarlet Splendor' zinnia (Zinnia elegans 'Scarlet Splendor') is an annual for borders, cut flowers, and pollinator gardens. It cannot take cold, and a freeze will end its season. This plant likes full sun and dry to average, loamy soil. It grows fast, stands upright, and handles dry spells well. Butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit the blooms. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with ProCut Plum sunflower, Radiance cosmos, and Cerise Queen yarrow.
