Notes

'Schéhérazade' rose (Rosa 'Schéhérazade') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, cut flowers, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Its bushy habit carries dark green leaves and fragrant, medium red blooms. Flowers open in late spring, early to late summer, and early autumn, and bees visit them. Charles Mallerin bred it, and A. Meilland introduced it in 1942.

Pairs well with Karl Foerster feather reed grass, Jackmanii clematis, and Spurge.
