Notes

'Schloss Mannheim' rose (Rosa 'Schloss Mannheim') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Reimer Kordes bred it in 1975. The upright plant has medium green leaves and fragrant orange-red blooms that attract bees. Flowers open in late spring, again in summer, and once more in early autumn.

Pairs well with Incrediball hydrangea, Karl Foerster feather reed grass, Amsonia, and Clematis.
