Notes

'Schöne vom See' rose (Rosa 'Schöne vom See') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, cut flowers, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. It grows upright to about 35 inches tall and 24 inches wide. Apricot blooms open in late spring, early to late summer, and early autumn, and bees visit them. Tim Hermann Kordes bred it in 2013.

Pairs well with Karl Foerster feather reed grass, Grape hyacinth, and Jackmanii clematis.
