Notes

'Sedona' peony (Paeonia 'Sedona') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. Coral-red blooms with darker flares open in early to late spring and attract butterflies. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Seidl bred it, and it spreads by stolons, so give it room.

Pairs well with Hardy geranium, Sweet William, and Grape hyacinth.
