Notes

'Seidl’s Super' peony (Paeonia 'Seidl’s Super') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its fragrant double yellow flowers open in mid to late season on stems that make good cuts. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Give the spreading stems support in the garden.

Pairs well with Empress Wu hosta, Nodding onion, and Blue grama.
