Notes

'Senorita' zinnia (Zinnia elegans 'Senorita') is an annual for borders, cut flowers, and pollinator gardens. Frost will kill it, so set it out only after the last frost in spring. This plant likes full sun and dry to moist soil of most types. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. It grows fast and reaches 24 to 36 inches tall on erect stems. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Snapdragon, First Knight fountain grass, and Spider flower.
