Notes
'Sheng Shi Ning Xiang' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Sheng Shi Ning Xiang') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Blush pink double flowers open in late spring and carry a sweet peony fragrance. The upright plants reach about 37 inches and do not need support. Young foliage emerges fuchsia.
Pairs well with Lupine, New England aster, and Spanish bluebell.
