Notes

'Sho-Yo' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Sho-Yo') is a perennial for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The large, fragrant flowers are flesh pink and turn creamy toward the center, where deep gold anthers show. The foliage stays clean and strong on a medium-height plant.

Pairs well with Francee hosta, Prairie Sun rudbeckia, Carnaval De Nice tulip, and Royal fern.
