Notes

'Silberlicht' bergenia (Bergenia 'Silberlicht') is a perennial for borders, ground cover, and low maintenance beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and average to moist soil of most types. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Pinkish-white flowers with red centers open in early to late spring and attract butterflies. The leaves stay evergreen and the plant tolerates salt.

Pairs well with Lady of the snows, Jacob’s ladder, and Greig's tulip.
