Notes

'Silver Daubed' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Silver Daubed') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It bears generous double pink flowers in late spring. The upright stems are sturdy and reach about 33 inches tall. William Henry Krekler bred it, and Charles Klehm and Son Nursery introduced it in 1977.

Pairs well with Tickseed, Blue sage, Royal fern, and Spanish bluebell.
