Notes

Silver-edged primrose (Primula marginata) is a perennial for containers and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and sandy or loamy soil. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Fragrant flowers open in spring, and the evergreen leaves stay on the plant all year. It spreads about 12 inches wide.

Pairs well with Purrsian Blue nepeta, Sedge, and Black Hero tulip.
