Notes

'Silver Moon' clematis (Clematis 'Silver Moon') is an evergreen vine for containers, cottage gardens, specimen planting, and privacy screens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil. It climbs 8 to 10 feet tall and wide, so give it a sturdy support. The silvery lilac blooms have pale yellow stamens, and butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit them. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits.

Pairs well with Quick Fire panicle hydrangea, Stargazer lily, and Little bluestem.
