Notes

'Sir Thomas Lipton' rose (Rosa 'Sir Thomas Lipton') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, specimens, and hedges. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun to part shade, average moisture, and loamy or clay soil. Fragrant white flowers open from early to late summer and attract bees. Dr. Walter Van Fleet bred it, and Conard & Jones introduced it in 1900. The bushy plant grows 5 to 8 feet tall, so give it room.

Pairs well with Ernest Markham clematis, Black Beauty peony, and Standing Ovation little bluestem.
