Notes
'Smutts' sweet cherry (Prunus avium 'Smutts') is a columnar tree for food gardens and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun. Bees and butterflies visit the blooms from early to late spring. The late fruit is grown for eating fresh. You need a second cherry tree nearby for fruit, because it is not self-fertile.
Pairs well with Hummingbird sweet pepperbush, Mount Hood daffodil, and Blonde Ambition blue grama.
