Notes

'Snow Flurry' heath aster (Symphyotrichum ericoides 'Snow Flurry') is a perennial for borders, rock gardens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average soil of most types. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. White flowers with yellow centers open in early to late summer and again in early to late autumn. Butterflies and bees visit the blooms.

Pairs well with White Swan coneflower, Little bluestem, and Nodding onion.
