Notes

'Soft Lemon Kisses' peony (Paeonia 'Soft Lemon Kisses') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Roy G. Klehm bred it, and it blooms early with fragrant, lemon-yellow, cup-shaped flowers. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Bees and butterflies visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Dense blazing star, Sum and Substance hosta, and Blue grama.
