Notes

'Soft Touch' peony (Paeonia 'Soft Touch') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Fragrant coral-pink semi-double blooms open in mid-season on strong, erect stems, and butterflies and bees visit them. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. Don Hollingsworth bred it.

Pairs well with White Swan coneflower, Prairie dropseed, Black Hero tulip, and Invincibelle Ruby smooth hydrangea.
