Notes

'Solidus' peony (Paeonia 'Solidus') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Early blooming semi-double flowers are yellow with hints of apricot and occasional red stripes. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. The upright plants need no support.

Pairs well with Krossa Regal hosta, Creeping phlox, and Christmas fern.
