Notes

'Sommerfreude' rose (Rosa 'Sommerfreude') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Pink blend flowers are fragrant and attract bees. They open in late spring, again in summer, and once more in early autumn. Noack Rosen introduced it in 2006.

Pairs well with Yarrow, Niobe clematis, Ornamental onion, and Foxglove.
