Notes
'Song of the Nereid' peony (Paeonia 'Song of the Nereid') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Pink ruffled flowers fade to light pink and keep a dark pink center on upright stems that need no support. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Joshua Scholten bred it.
Pairs well with August Moon hosta, Queen of Night tulip, and Blue grama.
