Notes
'Sonic Bloom Pure Pink' weigela (Weigela Florida 'Sonic Bloom Pure Pink') is a shrub for borders, pollinator gardens, hedges, and specimen plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. It blooms in spring, summer, and autumn, and it draws butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. Deer tend to pass it by. The arching form grows 35 to 59 inches tall and wide, so give it room.
Pairs well with Snowcap Shasta daisy, Russian sage, and Siberian iris.
