Notes

'Sonoma Floozy' peony (Paeonia 'Sonoma Floozy') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Irene Tolomeo bred this Itoh peony, and its large single flowers age from red to yellow on long, strong stems. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. Bees and butterflies visit the fragrant blooms.

Pairs well with August Moon hosta, Stargazer lily, and Switchgrass.
