Notes

'South Seas' daylily (Hemerocallis 'South Seas') is a perennial for borders, containers, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. It has fragrant blooms that butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit. Rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Drought and salt are no trouble for it.

Pairs well with Caradonna sage, Moonshine yarrow, and Lady's mantle.
