Notes
'Sparkler Blush' spider flower (Cleome houtteana 'Sparkler Blush') is an annual for borders and low maintenance gardens. It is not cold-hardy and will not survive freezing temperatures. This plant likes full sun and dry to average, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Rabbits tend to pass it by. It grows 24 to 36 inches tall and wide, and the blooms are fragrant. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and birds visit it, and it handles drought well.
Pairs well with Mexican sunflower, Snapdragon, and First Knight fountain grass.
