Notes
'Sparkler White' spider flower (Cleome houtteana 'Sparkler White') is an annual for borders and low maintenance gardens. Frost will kill it, so set it out only after the last frost in spring. This plant likes full sun and dry to average, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Its fragrant flowers attract butterflies, hummingbirds, and birds. Rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. It is drought tolerant and grows 24 to 36 inches tall and wide.
Pairs well with Mexican sunflower, Snapdragon, and First Knight fountain grass.
