Notes

'Sparrieshoop' rose (Rosa 'Sparrieshoop') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, specimen planting, and hedges. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. The light pink, fragrant blooms open in late spring, again in summer, and into early autumn. Bees visit the flowers. Reimer Kordes bred it in 1953.

Pairs well with Standing Ovation little bluestem, Gladiator ornamental onion, Paris coral bells, and Polish Spirit clematis.
