Notes

'Spice Island' rosemary (Salvia rosmarinus 'Spice Island') is an herb for containers, rock gardens, food gardens, and hedges. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, loamy soil. The arching, evergreen stems are fragrant, and bees, butterflies, hummingbirds, and birds visit it. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. It also tolerates drought and salt.

Pairs well with French lavender, Thyme, and Bowman's root.
