Notes

'Spider Green' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Spider Green') is a perennial for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The single white and green flowers have narrow, fluted, twisted petals. Each stem carries 2 to 3 buds and has good stem strength. William Henry Krekler bred it in 1980.

Pairs well with Wild geranium, Sedge, Little Beauty tulip, and Sensitive fern.
