Notes

'Splendid Cornelia' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Splendid Cornelia') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Roy G. Klehm bred it. The light pink double blooms age to white and open in mid to late spring and early summer. Each stem holds 2 to 3 buds, and the guard petals are excellent.

Pairs well with Wild geranium, Sensitive fern, and Little Beauty tulip.
