Notes

'Springfield' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Springfield') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The loose, double blooms are deep pink with silvery highlights and a darker center. They are fragrant and open from mid to late spring into early summer. William Henry Krekler bred it.

Pairs well with Tickseed, Sedge, and Scentara Double Blue lilac.
