Notes

'Stanley' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Stanley') is a perennial for borders, cut flower gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The single flowers open in mid to late spring and have rose-pink petals with silvery edges. Crousse bred it, and the compact plant holds its blooms well above the dark foliage.

Pairs well with Aromatic aster, African Queen lily, and Kentucky bluegrass.
