Notes

'Starina' rose (Rosa 'Starina') is a shrub for borders, containers, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun to part shade and loamy or clay soil. It stays bushy and compact, and it tops out near 20 inches tall. The orange-red blooms are fragrant and appear in late spring, summer, and early autumn. Bees visit the flowers.

Pairs well with Blue Angel hosta, Royal Purple smoketree, Cornflower, and Nelly Moser clematis.
