Notes

'Strong Coral' peony (Paeonia 'Strong Coral') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The semi-double coral-pink flowers fade to salmon-pink and then yellow as they age. Sturdy stems need no support, and the many stems mean the plant needs ample space. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by.

Pairs well with Prairie dropseed, Queen of Night tulip, Hosta, and Nodding onion.
