Notes
'Summer Jewel Lavender' salvia (Salvia 'Summer Jewel Lavender') is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It blooms in spring, summer, and autumn, and butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit the flowers. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. It handles drought and salt well.
Pairs well with Mexican petunia, Mondo grass, and Olive.
