Notes
'Summer Snow' peony (Paeonia 'Summer Snow') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Lyman D. Glasscock bred it, and it grows 30 inches tall with excellent stem strength. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. The white single blooms are fragrant and attract butterflies and bees.
Pairs well with Coralbells, Indian grass, and Stargazer lily.
