Notes

'Summer Wine' daylily (Hemerocallis 'Summer Wine') is a perennial for borders, containers, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. It grows up to 24 inches tall and wide. It is not a favorite of rabbits, though hungry rabbits will eat almost anything. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the flowers.

Pairs well with Caradonna sage, Moonshine yarrow, and Lady's mantle.
