Notes

'Sun God' peony (Paeonia 'Sun God') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its ruffled yellow flowers are fragrant and measure about 6 inches across, but stems may need support when the blooms open. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. Joshua Scholten bred it.

Pairs well with Coralbells, Switchgrass, and Stargazer lily.
