Notes
'Sun Goddess' peony (Paeonia 'Sun Goddess') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its fragrant, double, dark pink flowers fade to a lighter shade and face upward. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. The upright plants need no support.
Pairs well with Sum and Substance hosta, Switchgrass, and Stargazer lily.
